1. his inability to understand what he reads, sees, or hears (written verse, scripture, or books)
2. Thinking that he knows everything when a man can continue learning until he lies on his death bed, and would still not know everything even if he was allowed to continue learning in Heaven, hearkening back to Pythagoras’ major innovation of claiming to be trying to find out rather than claiming to know for certain.
