Like Intellectual Elitism, Greatness Is a Non Social Function
Why cast your pearls before those swine?
Just find good books on which to dine.
If they don’t think,
Or even can’t,
You reckon you’re some Hierophant?
Because you are,
If you’re bizarre
And don’t blend in with those
Who won’t go far
They think there’s nothing more to life
Than indulgence and to bemoan strife:
So don’t feel sad
Without dumb fad
Or peer group of
Normal lass and lad,
Just don’t stop following,
Yet learn to lead,
With every divine thing you read.
If they don’t care,
Just let them starve
The world laid bare
Needs those who carve:
New Values on some timeless clay
To keep one man from true dismay.
If they call you weird
Least you’re not steered
Like livestock who
The shepherd feared,
For their weak minds can never win
Once karma’s wheel hath come full spin.
